Islamic Finance Course Offered at Ryerson University

TORONTO — Qurba Academy held the 7th course of the Essentials Program on Saturday, November 27 and Sunday, November 28 at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.

The course, titled Islamic Law II: Zakat and Financial Transactions featured Shaykh Faraz Rabbani who taught how equality and fairness are at the heart of Islamic financial rulings. Topics of the course included zakat, charity, inheritance, riba, gharar, and investments.

This course is one of five courses in the Law category and one of thirteen courses of the Essentials Program.
