BOSTON — Dr. Nadeem Memon, Razi’s Director of Education and Program Director for the Islamic Teacher Education Program (ITEP), conducted a lunch seminar for the Mandel Center for Jewish Education at Brandeis University. The seminar theme was “Islamic Schooling in America: Competing Visions”.
Dr. Memon’s session gave the context of Islamic schools in America, meanings of Islamic education and touched upon the future of Islamic Schooling in America.
The conference gathered over 100 full-time Jewish educators from the New England area.
The Mandel Centre for Jewish Education works with educators, scholars, policy makers and funders to strengthen Jewish education by promoting research and developing leadership for the field.
